Plan of Action

 We had a quick group meeting to decide how our next in-depth meeting will proceed:
  • Choose artists, and work that we would like to use within our exhibition, write them an email each to get permission, and find out more about their work.
  • We then need to set up meetings with each artist individually and interview them to discuss work and how it will be displayed.
  • Plan meetings for the next four weeks so it organized and planned.
  • Finalise a theme/ concept from various ideas.
  • Choose a title for the exhibition and press release.
  • -Decide who will be in charge of advertising and press release.
  • Risk assessment, and what we may need health and safety forms for.
  • Begin visits to galleries for research on exhibitions and display such as Ikon, Eastside projects and any other local galleries. 
  • Create various floor plans for setting up exhibition with measurements.
  • Decide on doing anything special for opening night for example food spread and beverages.
  • Decide whether we will have private viewing or non private viewing.
  • Install and de-install the exhibition on Wednesday 12th February and Friday 14th February (idea of having a camera doing a time lapse of set up to show how the show has developed through set up.)
